First, appraisers determine the value of a real estate property, which is useful for many things, from buying and selling a house and figuring out mortgages, to divorce settlement or estate planning. Meanwhile, structural engineers are who you call if you are concerned with the structural integrity of your home. Potential problems with a house structure are often revealed during a home inspection.
